Making Change in a Pandemic

Being Thankful

Not sure what to say-as Thanksgiving and the holidays approach for 2020. It has been quite a year-we have all been effected, the entire world has been upended. We are moving through the days and learning how to live in a world of waiting and no answers. Many have been deeply impacted by the world and national events of these past months.  Depression, anxiety, tension, overwhelm can seem to take over. We are all trying to figure out how to do life and not get swallowed up -better yet, how to change, learn and thrive.

So I am just going to pass on some quotes that came by me lately.

“The balanced life (noun) is a myth and unattainable. Rather-balancing life  (verb) is a do-able, attainable goal.”

“Success in life is not how well we execute Plan A; It’s how smoothly we cope with Plan B.” (Lots of plan B going on)

“The most important spiritual growth doesn’t happen when you’re meditating or on a yoga mat. It happens in the midst of conflict–when you’re frustrated, angry or scared, and  you’re doing the same old thing.  And then you suddenly realize that you have a choice to do it differently.”

Hooray to those brave ones who have decided to do it differently.
