** With Phase 4 in Illinois the end of June 2020, I have begun to see clients face to face again. Telehealth is still available, and some insurances are continuing to pay 100% for telehealth (please check with your insurance).
For in person counseling, I am observing the following precautions that are recommended:
-wait in your car until I call/text you for your appointment, to cut down on contact in our waiting room
-wear a face mask into the building and in the lobby, but masks do not need to be worn in my personal office
-maintain 6 foot or more social distance, with no physical contact, hand shaking or hugs
-use sanitizer, available in my office, if you haven’t recently washed or have touched your face/mouth
-please do not come to your session if…… (you can change to telehealth if any of these symptoms/situations occur)
-fever, coughing, sneezing, shortness of breath
-you or anyone in your immediate household has been diagnosed or exposed to COVID-19
-you have traveled to a HIGH-RISK area; please let me know if you have traveled by airplane
I will be sanitizing the chair/door knobs after each client.
Thank you for respecting these guielines and taking care of me/my family/yourself in not coming in person if you have any suspected exposure or symptoms of COVID-19.
